Tyler Read, Next Generation 9-1-1 Technician at COMsolve, plays an important role in ensuring the transition of 911 call centers across Ontario to NG9-1-1. Tyler’s work involves the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of call positions that are vital for emergency services. By ensuring that these systems are ready and functional, Tyler contributes to the continued reliability of critical emergency service infrastructure and increases the efficiency of future troubleshooting in the event of any connectivity or equipment issues.
Working directly with system vendors and clients, Tyler’s main duties involve the installation and testing of equipment, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. By conducting asset audits before installations and managing spare equipment onsite, Tyler is able to streamline operations and ensure swift responses to any challenges that may arise.
