As a highly respected contractor within the telecom industry, our macro site turn-key solution encompasses everything from RF design, surveying and planning to implementation, deployment, commissioning and testing.
We build and integrate sites all across Canada which has allowed several carriers to expand their coverage area.
To boost cellular coverage within a building, specific solutions are required. Using a Distributed Antenna System, our deployment team was able to bring cellular coverage to all floors of a busy an Ontario hospital. Installing over 100 antennas, 3000 meters of coaxial and fiber cable, the project was finished on time and under budget.
A core aspect of our business, drive testing has been one of our staples at COMsolve. In our early days, one of the major Canadian service providers came to us with a need to improve their network.
Nearly 15 years later, we are continuing to assist in improving their network reliability and coverage. Our testing has allowed them to expand their network and grow their customer base.
Canadian Numbering administration
COMsolve performs the function of Canadian Numbering Administrator (CNA) for the Canadian Telecommunications industry under contract to the Canadian Numbering Administration Consortium Inc. CNA functions include Canadian numbering resource administration, the processing of applications for North American Numbering Plan (NANP) resources, and other telecommunications numbering resources. The CNA also chairs and is the secretary for the Canadian Steering Committee on Numbering (CSCN) and the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) Ad Hoc Relief Planning Committees (RPCs).

As the need for cloud storage and computing grows, the need for more data centers increases. Not only did we install coaxial and network cabling for our customers, but we established several wireless links between locations to allow for rapid data recovery in the event of a crisis.
RF emissions testing & training
Radiofrequency (RF) emissions are an invisible danger. A telco came to us with concern over RF emissions from a large portion of their sites in a Canadian city.
Over the course of 2 weeks, we tested every site, collecting over 50 measurements from each location. We were able to identify several concerns at a handful of sites, and made recommendations to address those issues.
A local food distribution company had several issues with their network-connected, handheld product scanners. The warehouse staff complained about limited or no connectivity.
Using walk test software, we were able to identify several dead zones throughout the warehouse. We recommended moving several Wi-Fi extenders and repeaters to different areas of the warehouse space. After several days, and a repeated walk test, coverage was boosted and no dead zones were identified.
