E911 Management System

COMsolve’s considerable experience in successfully managing several E911 related projects has resulted in the company identifying the need for a robust E911 Management System that enables wireless carriers to manage and maintain all 911 related information and tasks in a reliable and secure manner. As a result, COMsolve has developed and deployed an E911 Management System with several Canadian wireless operators.

The E911 Management System contains the knowledge required to manage and maintain a North American wireless operator’s E911 infrastructure. It provides the following main features and capabilities:

• Maintaining ESRD/ESRK pool
• Allocating ESRD/ESRKs to cell sector
• Maintaining cell sites and cell sector information
• Enabling adding/updating/deleting site information
• Supporting batch loading of cell sites information additions and updates
• Maintaining PSAP/ESN/ESZ routing tables
• Supporting PSAP routing and trunk ordering
• Generating ALI DB load files
• Generating switch datafill
• Generating test forms for field testing
• Storing test results
• Identifying the need for cell sites testing
• Providing reports

The system is deployed as a web-based application:

• The system resides on a server and is accessed using a standard web browser.
• The system utilizes a database for maintaining all the information.
